Deed Preparation Services
Fore! Trust Software has partnered with UDEED to expand our services to
provide our clients with a one-stop solution to research, prepare and record
deeds for your trust clients.
We appreciate that you may be comfortable with preparing and recording
deeds for the state for which you are licensed to practice law in, but
what about the state’s that your client may need to transfer their property
into a trust that you are not licensed in? How do you handle researching
their prior recorded information, obtaining the correct state and county
forms and even calculating the recording fees?
By using UDEED, you can simply login to their online ordering system,
place your order in minutes and let UDEED do the rest (our software will let you prepare the UDEED order form in lieu of preparing the actual transfer deed). You can choose to
allow UDEED to work with your firm directly or with your client directly.
UDEED will research the prior recorded deeds, prepare the new deed for
each state necessary along with the required state and county forms, calculate
recording fees and transfer tax (if applicable) and finally, UDEED will
record the documents for your client. Once the deeds have been recorded,
UDEED scans the original document and stores it on UDEED’s site easy access.
The final recorded original is then forwarded to you or your client.
UDEED is offering to all Fore! Trust Software customers their document preparation service at a special rate of $125. Additional fees for research (which averages $35 per deed), recording and other county/state fees also apply. Since this is an additional "add-on" service for your client, it would seem reasonable to pass this cost on to your client; no invoice or pricing detail will be sent to the client by UDEED (the cost for your client going directly to UDEED is $185 plus the additional costs). Please note that the UDEED service is not limited to transfers to a living trust, but for any title transfers you may need (e.g., probate, trust administration, gifting, dissolution, partnerships, corporations, LLC's, etc.).
After you have purchased Fore! Trust Software, you will be automatically enrolled
in UDEED’s system. You do not need to contact UDEED directly. A UDEED
representative will contact you to walk you through UDEED’s ordering process
